Information and Communications Systems

While it’s important to review the characteristics and common features of the built environment that support independent wayfinding, it’s also important to proactively provide information to people impacted by blindness about building services and safety. This information can be provided in a variety of formats (i.e., visual, audible or tactile) and in a variety of ways.
